Ramstore, which has started to function on 11th of June 2005, is a chain of international retail hypermarkets of Migros Turk T.A.S. which is a part of Koc Holding, Turkeys biggest cooperation with 11,9 billion of consolidate sales in 2004.

In May, Moonlight Capital S.A. completed the acquisition of 50.8% of Migros Türk. The Board of Directors was changed and Bülend Özaydınlı became the Chairman and the Managing Director. In the Board of Directors meeting on 24th of July, Özgür Tort was appointed as the General Manager of Migros Türk starting 1st of August, 2008. With the new management and the shareholder structure , Migros Turk gives the signals of a very accelerated growth.

Ramstore Mall counts over 20,000 daily visitors from which 5,000 of them are visiting the market everyday. Although Ramstore Macedonia is part of a large international network that consists of more than 500 markets in Turkey and in other countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Bulgaria) in various formats, the company has a strategy to work with local importers, representatives, producers and distributors. Ramstore has serious and long-term plans for operation and expansion in the Republic of Macedonia, and the Shopping Mall and Hypermarket in the centre of Skopje is just the beginning of the creation of a larger chain which is expected to expand throughout the country in the following years.
